Nurnberg have set a deadline for full-back Timothy Chandler to make a decision regarding his future.
The USA international has been linked with Bundesliga rivals Stuttgart and he will be out of contract in the summer of 2013.
Nurnberg general manager Martin Bader has consequently given Chandler one month to decide whether he wants to sign a new deal or move to a different club.
Bader told Bild: "I'd like to have a definite response from Timothy Chandler regarding his future within the next four weeks."
He added: "If the offer from Stuttgart is not the right one, we would kick off the new campaign with Timothy Chandler in our squad."
