Celtic boss Neil Lennon has stated Scott Brown is doubtful for Scotland's international friendly against Slovenia next week.
Brown has been a regular for the SPL leaders recently, although he sustained a groin strain in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Dunfermline.
The 26-year-old midfielder will be assessed by Celtic on Saturday although Scotland's medical staff are likely to also be consulted.
"Scott Brown is a doubt, he came off on Wednesday with a groin problem and we will see how he is in the morning," commented Lennon.
"I don't know yet (about Scotland), it will depend on how he is (on Saturday).
"If he is out of our squad then we will probably have to get him assessed by the Scottish medical staff and take things from there."
