Killie forward in demand from interested clubs

Kilmarnock forward Dean Shiels is weighing up his options with his impressive form attracting interest from a number of clubs. Shiels, who joined Killie on a short-term deal until the end of the season during the January transfer window, has been in a rich vein of form for the Rugby Park outfit. The 27-year-old is into double figures on the goalscoring front, including scoring the winner against Rangers at Ibrox earlier this month. Shiels has also been included in Michael O'Neill's first Northern Ireland squad for Wednesday's friendly with Norway on the back of his impressive performances. The former Arsenal youngster's agent, Clive Hart, admits interest is mounting in Shiels and that the forward could have a big decision to make this summer.

Great form

"Dean is really enjoying his football at Kilmarnock and he is showing some great form for them," Hart told Sky Sports. "He has scored winning goals in the League Cup semi-final and also against Rangers at Ibrox and he fully deserves to be included in the Northern Ireland squad. "Dean's contract is up at the end of the season and I know his performances are not going unnoticed. "We will sit down and discuss all our options as there is interest from England and abroad."
