United boss hopes youngster will beef-up in coming months

Sir Alex Ferguson admits he would like goalkeeper David de Gea to build up his physique to help develop his game. The Manchester United manager has been pleased with the recent form of his £18million summer signing, who struggled in the early part of the season following his move from Atletico Madrid. Ferguson admits that the 21-year-old does need to work on some of his physical attributes, but he is confident on his progress. "The boy has got talent. He's lightning quick but has just found it difficult to adjust to some parts of the game here," said the Scot. "It's a matter of developing his frame. He's doing a lot of work in the gym. "If we can get maybe a stone on him without losing any of his flexibility or speed it would be a great boost to him."
