Hamburg have confirmed a contract extension with Germany Under 21 international Maximilian Beister.
The forward is currently out on loan at Bundesliga 2 promotion-chasers Fortuna Dusseldorf, but he is highly rated at Hamburg.
Beister's new deal will keep him as a Hamburg player until June 2016 and he will return to the club at the end of the season.
Hamburg chairman Carl-Edgar Jarchow told Kicker-Sportmagazin: "Maximilian Beister is a player with a big talent.
"He has a great future. We have signed a new three-year-deal with him."
Beister has scored 10 goals in 24 Bundesliga 2 matches this season.
