QPR Defender Clint Hill believes this week's games against Swansea and West Brom will be vital to their Premier League future.
Rangers sit just outside the relegation zone, despite losing 2-0 at Manchester United on Sunday, but Hill is adamant they cannot rely on others to secure survival.
He told the club's
official website: "We're in a better position heading into Wednesday night, than we were before the weekend, with the way the results and the goal difference went, but the next two games are the biggest of our season so far."
The Loftus Road side have enjoyed unexpected victories against Liverpool and Arsenal in recent weeks, and Hill hopes those results can inspire them going forward.

He continued: "Hopefully, we can take the form of our last two home games into the next two fixtures.
"[Swansea] are safe now, so hopefully we can take advantage of that. We're at home, so we'll always fancy ourselves.
"It's a small pitch, which suits us perhaps more than it will suit them. We know they'll have a lot of possession, but hopefully we can take our chances when they come."
And manager Mark Hughes has also cited QPR's Loftus Road form as crucial to their survival.
He said: "We have three home games that are going to be key for us. We are playing exceptionally well at home.
"If we can get maximum points from those, and pick up something on our travels, hopefully that will be enough."
