Bolton captain wants big crowds at crucial home games

Kevin Davies has urged Bolton fans to emerge in vast numbers ahead of two crucial home games in the club's recent history. The Trotters are in the Premier League relegation zone with three games remaining, but their next two games are home encounters with Tottenham and West Brom respectively. An away win and draw against Aston Villa and Sunderland respectively have provided a decent platform for Bolton to build on ahead of the meetings, but club captain Davies believes the team needs support. "Hopefully we'll get a big crowd behind us [in the two home games]. We know they're two huge games. We're all in it together and we'll keep fighting to the end," he told Sky Sports. "We'll take Spurs first and we just have to go and give it our all. We'll need to pull out a big performance but we've got a decent record against Spurs." Davies was speaking after scoring two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light, adding that Bolton's team spirit will aid their quest to stay in the Premier League. "This one's behind us, we've got another point on the board and we look forward to the next game," he said. "We've always had a great spirit and we've been in this position before and it has certainly helped us stay in this league. "We're on a decent run and hopefully we can stay unbeaten from now until the end of the season."
