Hearts striker could miss out with hamstring problem

Hearts manager Paulo Sergio has admitted that Craig Beattie could miss Saturday's Scottish Cup final, but Andy Webster is set to overcome a slight fitness worry. Striker Beattie scored the winning goal in the semi-final against Celtic to set up an all-Edinburgh clash with Hibernian, but he has been struggling with a hamstring injury. There has been little sign of improvement and, after not training over the weekend, he may have to sit out the Hampden Park showpiece. "I don't know. He didn't work in the last two days so he's a doubt," said Sergio in the Daily Record.

Webster boost

Defender Webster was substituted in Sunday's 5-0 loss to Celtic due to a sore groin but Sergio fully expects him to line up against Hibernian. "Andy made a great effort because he had some complaints with his groin," said Sergio. "Nothing happened in the match against Celtic and I'm happy with that. "I'm happy with him too because he put all his effort into the team, even with a small problem in his groin."
