Defender ready to move on this summer

Darren O'Dea is waiting to hear from Celtic with regards whether they want to keep him at Parkhead. O'Dea has spent this season on loan at Leeds United, but Whites boss Neil Warnock decided against making the move permanent. The 25-year-old, who is in the Republic of Ireland squad for Euro 2012, believes it may be best for him to move on after spending the last couple of seasons out on-loan.

Wait

"Nothing is happening because I've to wait for (Celtic chief executive) Peter Lawwell to make up his mind," said O'Dea. "He's told me I will get a letter in the post. "If he thinks he will let me go, then that is better for me. Ideally in my world it makes sense just to let me go and I will look after myself." O'Dea is ready to put thoughts on his own future on the backburner until after Euro 2012. "It will be in the back of my mind," O'Dea added. "If I play over there it won't be to impress anyone else but our coaching staff and players."
