Swansea ask about Dorrans and Dawson

Sky Sports understands that West Bromwich Albion have shunned an enquiry from Swansea City about Graham Dorrans and Craig Dawson. Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers is already pressing ahead with his plans for next season and is believed to be closing in on a deal for Gylfi Sigurdsson - whom impressed on loan last term. But he is also looking at other areas to bolster and Sky Sports understands he has an interest in West Brom pair Dorrans and Dawson. Scotland international midfielder Dorrans has been with the Baggies since 2008 and has played over 100 games, whilst England Under 21 defender Dawson made his breakthrough last term in featuring 12 times. Swansea are believed to have made contact with West Brom earlier this month, but the Baggies - who are yet to appoint a new Head Coach following Roy Hodgson's departure - turned down their approach.
