Danish playmaker says he has no offers to consider

Christian Eriksen is aware of the intense speculation surrounding his future at Ajax, but claims to have had no contact with Manchester City or Anzhi Makhachkala. The 20-year-old playmaker is considered to be one of European football's hottest properties, with the continent's biggest clubs falling over themselves in an effort to secure his signature. Eriksen has grown accustomed to the reports, though, with each passing transfer window bringing with it a fresh round of rumours. The Denmark international has remained loyal to Ajax throughout, with it his belief that his ongoing development would be best served in Holland. He has offered no indication that he is about to alter that stance and says there are no big-money offers on the table for him to consider.

Ambition

"I don't think much about the market rumours," Eriksen told Jyllands Posten. "I read in the papers that Manchester City and Anzhi are ready to spend millions on me. There is nothing concrete there. "Which league would I like to play in? One of the English, Spanish of Italian championships." He added: "I want to play for a club that plays to win championships. If they don't, I might as well stay here. "There is no point moving to a club that is in the bottom half of their league. I'd prefer to remain at Ajax, grow here and win more championships."
