Midfielder can't wait for a European night at St James' Park

Yohan Cabaye believes next season will be massive for Newcastle as they prepare to enter Europe for the first time in five years. The France midfielder has been a massive success at St James' Park since his move from Lille last summer. The 26-year-old helped Alan Pardew's side to a fifth-place finish in the Premier League, just missing out on the top four. But now Cabaye, who starred for Les Bleus during Euro 2012, is looking forward to impressing in next season's Europa League campaign. "Playing in Europe next season is massive for the Club and massive for the players as it shows progression," he told the club's official website. "We have to play in these sort of competitions for the experience. It can only be a good thing for us as a squad. "And the fans will love it too. I can't wait for a European night in our stadium - it will be great. "It will be really important to play well in this competition and I'm sure we can do well."
