Winger signs deal with Championship rivals

Bristol City have snapped up Paul Anderson after he came to the end of his contract at Nottingham Forest. The 24-year-old played a major role in two successive play-off pushes for the club but found his chances limited last season as he struggled with niggling injuries. The winger has signed a two-year deal with the Championship club, to the delight of manager Derek McInnes. "He is a player with bags of potential," McInnes told the club's official website. "He knows the npower Championship with years of experience in the division and arrives at a decent age. "He has real pace, can play in two or three different roles and is a good addition to strengthen our team and squad. "He has his best years ahead of him and we've beaten a number of other clubs to his signature."
