Striker set for City Ground switch
Sky Sports understands Nottingham Forest are set to win the race for Simon Cox after they agreed a deal with West Bromwich Albion.
The Irish international travelled to the City Ground on Saturday to undergo a medical, ahead of finalising the move.
Forest have agreed to pay £2million for Cox, heading off interest from a number of clubs including Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Cox joined West Brom in 2009 from Swindon Town for £1.5million - but has failed to make himself a permanent fixture in their starting XI.
Now he is looking to kick-start his career with a move, and a number of clubs were keen on him - but he now looks to have opted for Forest.
