Gunners new boy happy with role at Emirates

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski believes he can form a successful partnership with fellow new boy Santi Cazorla. Podolski netted his first goal for the club in last weekend's win at Liverpool after being set up by Cazorla and he repaid the compliment with the assist for the Spaniard's effort. Cazorla again caught the eye at Anfield and Podolski is relishing linking up with the classy playmaker. "I like Arsenal's style of football and Santi's as well - I love his style of football, with one or two touches," said Podolski. "We play [well] together and you could see it here - he passed for me for the first goal, I passed to him for the second goal. "But we are only three matches in. We have 35 matches more so we must keep going."

Style

Podolski is happy with his role at Arsenal after being given more freedom to express himself. "At Arsenal, I not only play on the line, but I can go in the middle and play with Santi and Abou Diaby and Mikel Arteta," added Podolski. "This is my style of football. I like this, but it is not only about one match - I want to play more of these matches."
