Paul Ince's son has been in impressive form of late

Sunderland striker Connor Wickham is impressed with fellow England Under-21 international Tom Ince. Ince, the son of former England captain Paul Ince, made his debut for the U21 side against Azerbaijan in Baku last week and started against Norway on Monday too. The 20-year-old had a successful season with Blackpool in the Championship in 2011-12 and has scored four goals in as many league fixtures for the Seasiders so far this campaign. And Wickham believes that Ince is quality winger. "I think everyone knew what he was about," he told FATV. "If you give him the ball he'll run and take people on, and that's what he did. "Obviously he did well last season and he's started off well again this season. "All the boys that have come in have gelled pretty well and any of the boys are capable of stepping into the team and doing a job, as they have shown." Ince developed at Liverpool's youth academy and left the Reds for Blackpool last summer.
