The Swede became the first person in history to score four goals against England as he bagged all the goals in their 4-2 success in Stockholm.
The English media have always questioned Ibrahimovic, who despite his success across the continent, has never overly impressed against British opposition.
But he put that hoodoo to bed with a sublime solo display, with his fourth goal a wonderful bicycle kick from 35 yards.
Larsson admits he could not believe what Ibrahimovic was doing when he went for his final goal, telling Sky Sports: "The reaction was, 'what you doing?' But he is one of the players in the world that can do that, and to be the fourth goal as well. I know he has been getting some stick back in England but it will be hard after that."
Larsson admits he does not know why his team-mate has never gained the respect from the English media.
"He has never played in England and he has maybe struggled against English teams in Champions League but I think he is better now than he has ever been and he has shown that for the national team recently, what more can I say - magic."
