Graham Barrow has been named as the new assistant manager at Wigan, with Eric Black returning to the club as first-team coach.
Barrow, who has had spells at Wigan as both a player and a manager, moves up from his position as first-team coach, which will be filled by Black.
Former Scotland international Black is a new addition to the set-up, but was previously assistant to Steve Bruce during his time at the DW Stadium.
Barrow played over 200 games for the Latics and has been at the club in a coaching capacity since 2009.
Wigan have also announced that former under-18s coach John Doolan has left the club.
