Roberto Mancini has told Sky Sports News HQ that he wouldn't rule out coming back to Manchester City

Roberto Mancini has not ruled out a return to Manchester City in the future.

Mancini told Sky Sports News HQ he would relish the opportunity to return to English football.

The Inter Milan boss said he is enjoying life in Italy but is still very proud of his achievements with City, where he won the Premier League and the FA Cup.

“Now they play with the same team, the important players are the same, but in the last few years they bought three, four or five players and they improved as a team for sure. I think Pellegrini is a good manager, but every year you can improve," Mancini said.

“Before now I never thought I could come back to Inter. I would like to come back to England because the football is fantastic football, maybe in the future it is possible.”

City take on Chelsea on Saturday Night Football and Mancini believes his former side are the better team and favourites for the top of the table clash.

“My opinion is Manchester City is the best team in the Premier League but Chelsea are strong because they have very good players," he added.

“Mourinho is a good manager and he has got them a winning mentality. I think that will be an important game. If City wins, the championship is really open. If City lose, it’s difficult. My opinion is City is the better team.”
