Did YOUR Premier League team live up to expectations this weekend?

We've asked former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports Now guest Phil Thompson to grade each side based solely on their 90-minute performance over the weekend.

So how did your team fare? Did they get an A+ or an F, or somewhere in between? Read on to see how all 20 sides have been ranked...

Premier League weekend results

  • Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle
  • West Ham 1-1 Everton
  • Sunderland 0-1 Southampton
  • Norwich 1-0 Swansea
  • Manchester United 2-0 West Brom
  • Leicester 2-1 Watford
  • Stoke 1-0 Chelsea
  • Aston Villa 0-0 Man City
  • Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham
  • Liverpool 1-2 Crystal Palace

Tottenham B+

This is an excellent team that Pochettino is developing. They are strong in defence and creative in midfield with a good blend from Eric Dier, Moussa Dembele and Dele Alli. Pochettino is working his magic with them and they should have won against Arsenal.

Crystal Palace B+

They don't seem to be frightened of anybody or going anywhere. The bigger the team the more they seem to look forward to it. They didn't have as much possession as they would have liked against Liverpool but they were still a threat and won the game.

Man City B

They weren't as clinical as they can be. They missed a couple of very good chances but were not helped by losing Wilfried Bony to injury. Maybe it was a Champions League hangover.

Arsenal B

For 70 minutes the game was dominated by Spurs, which is very unusual at the Emirates. Santi Cazorla was clearly ill and it allowed Spurs to get a grip of the midfield. Arsenal failed to cut open Spurs like they normally do, although they did miss a few good chances.

Liverpool B

I'm probably being a bit kind but like Arsenal they had a lot of headed chances and they had the most touches in the Premier League in the opposition box, but only scored one. Being clinical in the area has been an ongoing problem for Liverpool.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says his side were unlucky in defeat to Crystal Palace having played well after a bad start.

Man United B

They are not performing as a lot of purists would like but they are getting the wins, even if they are more reliant on their defence. They are getting clean sheets and getting the results. It was a good performance.

Southampton B

They should have won more comfortably. They had all the best chances and I like what I am seeing from them. Virgil van Dijk looks excellent at the back and they have good players around the pitch.

Leicester B

Probably not the best display but they have the players who can win games for them. I love seeing the pace, togetherness and determination, and they have players who are enjoying themselves at the moment.

Stoke B

They held out defensively, played well enough and then took the chance that came their way through Marko Arnautovic to win the game.

Chelsea B

They played a lot better than they have done for a while, they just weren't clinical in front of goal. However, it was a vast improvement over 90 minutes from the champions.

Jamie Redknapp thought Loic Remy was 'too honest' after hurdling a challenge in the penalty area by Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland

Aston Villa C+

It was better from Villa. They passed the ball better in the first half when Manchester City weren't really at it, but they got away with it in the second half and they could have easily conceded a couple of goals.

Bournemouth C+

They played very well in possession and came up against a goalkeeper in good form, but they have to win games like this. They can't afford to play as well as they have and not win these kinds of matches.

Newcastle C+

They only get the plus because they won the game. They have played well in the last few weeks and got no reward but they got the three points here thanks to Rob Elliott, who was brilliant and kept them in the game.

Watford C+

Great ability with the frontmen and they were always in the game, but they saved their best until the end when they were already 2-0 behind.

Norwich C+

It wasn't great from Norwich but they got the win they needed. They did not create as many chances as they had in previous weeks but both sides were in need of the victory and Norwich got it.

West Ham C+

They didn't play to their capability. They were at home and they could have been a bit more creative, even though they did lose Dimitri Payet to injury.

Everton C+

They have probably played better but Gerard Deulofeu produced the pass of the season so far. He made a great one against Sunderland the week before for Romelu Lukaku but this was even better as there wasn't much space and he split the two central defenders at the right pace.

West Brom C

You knew how they were going to set up - very defensive minded, sitting back and hoping for a break, and they did got it. Craig Dawson delivered a great ball and I'm not sure what Saido Berahino was doing, it was the best chance of the whole game and he missed it.

Swansea C

They are having the most difficult time at the moment. They aren't looking as threatening as they have been and defensively they look like they are going to concede.

Sunderland D

I did this game on Soccer Saturday and Sunderland looked frightened, nervous, players unsure of themselves, yet they stayed in it for quite a while. Still, not good enough at home.
