Theo Walcott has urged Arsenal to match their performance against Watford last season when they face the Hornets on Saturday still searching for their first win of the season.

The Gunners won 3-0 last October at Vicarage Road with Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud on the scoresheet.

And Walcott, who played in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Leicester City, has called for his team-mates to produce a similar display when they face Walter Mazzarri's side.

"We've got a nice run of games now and we've got to think about all of the positives," he told the club's website.

"Watford is going to be another tough game because every game is this season, so it's going to be very difficult.

"Each team gets better each year. We want to have a similar sort of performance to when we last played Watford away.

"It doesn't matter how we play, as long as we get the three points."

The Daily Mirror's John Cross believes that Arsenal's transfer window campaign has been a 'shambles'

The England midfielder, who scored in the 4-3 defeat by Liverpool last weekend, said the players were satisfied with getting a point at the King Power Stadium against the Premier League champions.

"Leicester know how to defend very well and like to put pretty much the whole team behind the ball, so it's difficult to break them down.
