Recalled defender wants future resolved quickly

Nicky Hunt admits his Bolton future will be on the line as he aims to shut out Arsenal on Saturday. The Bolton-born full-back was sent on loan to Birmingham this season after dropping behind Gretar Steinsson in the Reebok pecking order. But with Steinsson banned, Hunt has been recalled and is likely to be handed a start at the Emirates.

Big weekend

Birmingham and Championship promotion rivals Burnley are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old's situation and Hunt admits he needs to make a decision before the end of the month. "It's a big weekend for me - and for the club," Hunt told The Sun. "I haven't had a chance to speak to the manager yet but there's a few weeks left of the transfer window and, if I'm not going to feature here, I'd like to go out on loan again. "It was incredibly frustrating for me at Bolton not getting in the team and I really enjoyed getting some games under my belt at Birmingham."
