New Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini insists he did not hesitate when faced with the choice of swapping a Premier League title challenge for a relegation battle.
The Italian left second-placed Chelsea to move to White Hart Lane earlier this week and made his debut in Tuesday's home victory over Stoke.
Spurs' win over the Potters lifted Harry Redknapp's side to 13th position in the table, but the North London outfit remain only three points clear of the drop zone.
Cudicini admits he has been receiving jokes from his old Chelsea team-mates regarding his decision to move London clubs, but he insists he has no regrets.

"After 10 seasons at Chelsea, it is normal my old team-mates have been getting in touch," he said in the
Daily Express. "But, yes, they have been taking the mickey.
"I haven't really thought much about swapping a title challenge for a relegation battle. I had the chance to join a great club and that is the most important thing.
"Of course the situation is not the best, but we are in this situation and will come out of it.
"Football is crazy. Sometimes even when you have great players, you find yourself in a position nobody wants to be.
"The quality is here. The team has got great players with great qualities, and showed that against Stoke."
