Hull City defender Andy Dawson is remaining positive despite his team losing their last six Premier League games.
The latest defeat came away at West Ham on Wednesday, leaving the Tigers 10th in the table, six points away from the relegation zone.
Despite their alarming run of form, especially given their impressive start to life in the top flight, the full-back believes one victory can turn their ailing form around.
Hull face bottom of the table West Brom at home on Saturday and Dawson, who returned from two months out against Millwall in the FA Cup fourth round, knows the enormity of the game.
"Those games aren't going to kill off our season and we've got a massive game on Saturday and one we must go and win," he said.
"The quicker we get points the quicker the confidence will build and the more belief we'll have.
"If we do then the winning mentality will return and then we're on 30 points and everything changes.
Togetherness
"I think it's going to be hard to set a points target this year. We know what we've got to do. We need to get as many points as we can because I'm not sure how many we'll need.
"We've had a dip in form but the belief and togetherness of the squad hasn't changed and that will see us through to the end of the season."
The 2-0 loss at Upton Park flattered the Tigers and they had stand-in goalkeeper Matt Duke to thank for keeping the scoreline respectable.
The Hammers twice hit the woodwork in the first half with Duke also saving a Mark Noble penalty and denying in-form Carlton Cole when he was through on goal.
"There might have been a bit of a lifeline when Dukey made that fantastic save but it wasn't to be," the 30-year-old added.
"We're a bit disappointed with the goals but we've come up against a good team and to be fair to us when they scored their second we didn't lie down.
"We kept going and created chances of our own but we've got a massive game now on Saturday and one we need three points from."
