Baggies boss secures PSG midfielder on loan

West Brom have signed Paris St Germain midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu on loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old moves to The Hawthorns as manager Tony Mowbray looks to boost his struggling Premier League squad. Mulumbu, who represents the Democratic Republic of Congo at international level, will not be eligible for Tuesday's FA Cup replay against Burnley because he was not registered before the original tie. The defence-minded player signed his first professional contract with PSG in 2006 and helped the club to the last 16 of the Uefa Cup the following year. Mulumbu has made 68 appearances for the Ligue One outfit, scoring once in that time.
