Michael Ball has told Sky Sports News that he is confident Guus Hiddink will succeed at Chelsea. Russia coach Hiddink has been confirmed as temporary manager of the Blues following the departure of Luiz Felipe Scolari on Monday. Manchester City full-back Ball worked with Hiddink during his time at PSV and is certain the Dutchman's simple approach to the game will pay dividends in the Premier League. He told Sky Sports News: "His CV says it all. When I was there under him at PSV he kept everything very simple. "He has a way of football that he has stuck to for a long, long time. He will work on what he wants at Chelsea. "Everyone has got respect for him, even the senior pros. He makes sense when he talks to you. "He is very determined to win things. He will do everything he can to win. He doesn't want to put a black mark on his CV." Hiddink is set to manage both Russia and Chelsea, a policy he adopted when in charge of PSV and Australia. Of the dual role, Ball added: "We [PSV] went on to win the league. Nothing really fazed us. We never noted a change. "He puts the trust in you (when he is away)."
