Assistant manager Mark Bowen has revealed that meetings have been held with the Queens Park Rangers players over the past couple of days to let them know the current situation is unacceptable.

Bowen added: "We are really surprised and gutted the way it has gone. We expected and wanted better. "The common denominator is that it has usually taken a few months to get our methods across and way we play. "But like Tony said, I feel we are the best people for job. The facts, CV and history to prove it. We know our history over the last 10 to 12 years that this will change and we will be successful."
