James McClean says confidence is high in the Sunderland camp but knows they cannot afford to lose momentum against Tottenham this weekend.
McClean feels it has taken time for O'Neill's squad to settle following the summer arrivals of Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson, who scored the winner against his old club City. But the 23-year-old believes the team is beginning to click, adding: "We had these two new lads coming in to a squad that was used to playing without them. "As good as they are, you need time to get used to one another's game. Now we are starting to gel."
