Did YOUR favourite Premier League team live up to expectations this weekend?

We’ve asked Sky Sports Now guest Nigel Winterburn to give each side a grade based solely on their 90-minute performance over the weekend.

So did your team get an A+ or an F, or somewhere in between? Read on to see how your team has been ranked.

Weekend results

  • Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle
  • Crystal Crystal palace 2-1 Aston Villa
  • Leicester 1-1 Tottenham
  • Norwich 1-1 Stoke
  • Sunderland 1-1 Swansea
  • West Ham 3-4 Bournemouth
  • West Brom 2-3 Chelsea
  • Watford 0-0 Southampton
  • Everton 0-2 Man City

Man City (A)

It's an A for City because they comfortably beat an Everton team coming off a resounding victory away from home against Southampton. They picked up another clean sheet but looked very explosive going forward. You couldn't really fault any part of their game. They almost put in the perfect away performance.

Sam Allardyce, Jamie Redknapp and Niall Quinn heap praise on Manchester City's David Silva after his third man-of-the-match performance of the season

Bournemouth (B+)

What a way to pick up your first win in the Premier League! I like the way they try to play the game. From two nil up to 2-2 they could have easily collapsed but they stuck to their principles and went on to pick up an excellent three points. It's a B+ for me!

Crystal Palace (B+)

It was an excellent performance from Palace. I love the way they are set up this season with their wide players, who can be so explosive. They had to change their system on Saturday with Yannick Bolasie unavailable but Bakary Sako came in and did tremendously well. It wasn't the complete performance but it was close. They get a B+.

Matt Le Tissier says Riyad Mahrez was at the heart of everything good about Leicester's play in their 1-1 draw with Spurs

Leicester (B+)

Leicester may have been held at home but after their start to the season it was an excellent result. It's always important to avoid defeat at home and with the draw they kept their momentum going. Claudio Ranieri has got his side full of enthusiasm and they are very well organised. They might even be slightly disappointed that they did not pick up all three points considering the way they finished last season and started this one.

Sunderland (B)

From the performances they showed in the first two games, Sunderland have to get a B. They have been so bad but on Saturday there was a lot more energy in the team. There was a lot more commitment and they looked much more organised. Again, they didn't win at home but there was a lot of improvement.

Phil Thompson praised Sunderland’s commitment against Swansea as they drew a game he thought they should have lost

Newcastle (B)

Newcastle could have ended up with nothing on Saturday but at the same time they had a chance to nick all three points themselves. Old Trafford is a very difficult place to go but they were superb at the back. It's got to be a B in terms of work rate and organisation. Steve McClaren deserved that grade alone, considering he was doing more work than some of the players on the touchline.

Tottenham (B)

They would have wanted more points at this stage of the season that's for sure. I feel Mauricio Pochettino is still trying to get them organised and with Harry Kane not in the goals, it's a struggle. However, it's an away point at a difficult place to go. From that point of view Spurs still get a decent mark for their efforts this week. They will need more going forward though if they want to finish in the top six at the end of the season.

Norwich (B)

Alex Neil's side were great at the weekend. On another day they could have won by three or four. However, it was not meant to be for them on Saturday and the manager is understandably very frustrated. It was still a strong performance and on another day they take all three points. Therefore they get a comfortable B.

After watching Norwich draw 1-1 at home with Stoke, Paul Merson believes the Canaries must start to make their chances count

Watford (B)

A lot of people thought Watford would struggle to pick up clean sheets but they've already got a couple on the board. It's going to be important for them to win their home games but they are working from a solid base. They didn't create a lot on Sunday which is the main problem but it's a good point against a good Southampton side.

Southampton (B)

Ronald Koeman's side have had their fair share of struggles so far this season. They changed their system against Watford and managed to pick up an away point when they are not at the top of their game. They get a B as well.

Manchester United (B-)

It's very hard to be critical of United. They played in the Champions League in midweek and won but I think they would have expected to beat this Newcastle side. They should be winning games like this at Old Trafford but with their exploits in midweek we will give them a B-.

Stoke (B-)

Again it's a draw away from home. Mark Hughes will be disappointed with the way his side defended but on the other hand, he will be delighted with the point. I'm sticking them in at B- but they need to improve defensively.

Swansea (B-)

It's an away point but Swansea would have looked at Sunderland's performances and targeted three points. Garry Monk would have been expecting a Sunderland reaction but it was a chance for Swansea to really put Dick Advocaat's side under the cosh. They didn't take that opportunity so they are marked slightly lower at a B-.

Chelsea's new signing Pedro had an instant impact when he scored one and made another in the 3-2 victory over West Brom

Chelsea  (C)

They needed to win the game and they did it! It wasn't perfect by any means but away from home the first objective is not to lose and then try and set up a victory. That is exactly what they did. They had to defend for the last 20 minutes which they did relatively well but they are still a work in progress. Chelsea were an A in terms of their performances last season but at the moment they are a C. That might seem very harsh because they won the game but we are judging them on the standards of last season and they are not there yet.

West Brom (C)

Tony Pulis' side lost at home to a top team but there were positives as they scored a couple of goals. Would the game have changed if they'd have scored the penalty? Yes, because usually if you score first in a Premier League game you get something out of the game. Defensively there's still a lot to work on for West Brom. They did not look comfortable at the back. It's very difficult to give a team that's lost the game a higher mark so I'm going for a C. it may sound a bit strange but there were positives in defeat.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis claims he is in the market for players to help him strike the balance between defence and attack

Everton (C)

On the day they came up against a team in Manchester City that was just better than them. I think from Everton's point of view losing at home is very difficult. There were bits in the game that showed they are going to be a lot stronger than last season. I like the way Ross Barkley has started the season but they needed to get Romelu Lukaku into the game more.

Aston Villa (C)

There were positives but in the end they came up short. Defensively they've got to improve. I'm slightly worried about the way Villa are trying to play out from the back. They just don't look comfortable doing it. It's looking like it could be a long season for Tim Sherwood's side but they have brought in some new players. It's early to be making too much of a judgement.

Charlie Nicholas was full of praise for Bournemouth following their first win in the Premier League

West Ham (C-)

It doesn't matter who you are playing against, West Ham would be expected to win a lot of games at home. It was a great result against Arsenal away but for some reason they haven't performed to their capabilities since then. They are letting in too many goals and Slaven Bilic will have to change things very quickly.
