Ahead of the third round of games in the 2015/16 Premier League season, we take a look at 10 questions that could be answered by the end of the weekend.
Top four too far for Spurs? (Tottenham v Everton – Saturday, 5.30pm, Sky Sports 1)
Jamie Redknapp says Tottenham's slow start shows they're slipping behind in the race for the Champions League spots, but they've just landed exciting forward Heung-Min Son from Bayer Leverkusen to provide Harry Kane with some much-needed support.
Everton have had a hit-and-miss start to the season, while the John Stones saga continues to drag on and distract the team from affairs on the pitch.
Two points from three games is not a great return for a team with top-four aspirations such as Spurs, and they need to register their first win of the season to make sure they don't fall further off the pace.
Can Wayne Rooney build on European treble? (Swansea v Man Utd – Sunday, 4pm, Sky Sports 1)
The Manchester United man has struggled in front of goal in the Premier League this season, but his hat-trick against Brugge in midweek may just signal the start of something.
Rooney scored just 12 times in the Premier League last season as he was deployed further back by Louis van Gaal, but has since been pushed back up front for this campaign.
The three goals on Wednesday were his first of the season on his fifth appearance, and the question now is whether he can go on the sort of run to get near his deadly form from 2011/12, when he registered his record Premier League haul of 27 goals.
How will Saints react to Europa disappointment? (Southampton v Norwich – Sunday, 1.30pm, Sky Sports 1)
After a superb seventh-placed finish last season, Southampton's Europa League campaign ended before it had even really started, with Thursday night's defeat at Midtjylland putting them out at the qualifying stage.
Like last summer, Ronald Koeman has seen some high-profile departures from St Mary's, but things haven't clicked as well as they did 12 months ago and Southampton are still looking for their first win of the Premier League season.
A home game against one of the newly-promoted sides could be what Koeman's men need, but Norwich are no pushovers, having won at Sunderland and held Stoke so far this term, with Nathan Redmond among the star performers.
More defensive issues for Arsenal? (Newcastle v Arsenal – Saturday, 12.45pm)
Question marks have been raised over Arsenal's defence so far this season, with Petr Cech's display against West Ham cause for concern until he redeemed himself with a superb performance against Liverpool.
Calum Chambers came under fire for his display in Monday's game as he stepped into a makeshift back line. Per Mertesacker is still out while Koscielny is fighting to return, but the Gunners will be buoyed by their clean sheet against Liverpool and their excellent record against Newcastle in recent years
They've won all of their last seven meetings and will travel to Tyneside confident of picking up their first victory of the campaign.
Is Ola Toivonen what Sunderland are missing? (Aston Villa v Sunderland – Saturday, 3pm)
It's been a poor start to the season for Sunderland, who earned their first point last Saturday, and this weekend's trip to Aston Villa could be billed as an early relegation clash.
Dick Advocaat's men have the worst defensive record in the league, having conceded eight goals in three games, while they shipped three at home to League Two Exeter in their Capital One Cup win in midweek.
So is signing a midfielder the answer? The concerns seem to be further back for the Black Cats, but they will be hoping the signing of Toivonen from Rennes can lift the whole squad.
Goals galore at the Vitality Stadium? (Bournemouth v Leicester – Saturday, 3pm)
Bournemouth come back for their second Premier League home game after last week's incredible seven-goal thriller at West Ham, which saw them earn their first-ever win.
The six games involving Bournemouth and Leicester have yielded 20 goals, and with Riyad Mahrez on fire for the visitors as well as Callum Wilson hitting a hat-trick for Eddie Howe's men, we could be set for a high-scoring affair on the south coast.
Are Chelsea actually back? (Chelsea v Crystal Palace – Saturday, 3pm)
As many top teams do, Chelsea reacted to disappointment with a win. The 3-0 humbling by Manchester City was followed by a 3-2 victory at West Brom, with Pedro and John Terry hitting the headlines for different reasons.
While Terry was sent off, new signing Pedro ran the show, scoring one, setting up another and injecting some life into the team to show why Jose Mourinho brought him to Stamford Bridge.
It was a much-needed win, with some nervy moments as they held on to take the three points, but question marks still remain over whether they can reach the level of last season, when they were so hard to beat, and Jose Mourinho will want a dominant display against Crystal Palace in his 100th Premier League home game.
Can Hammers end Anfield hoodoo? (Liverpool v West Ham – Saturday, 3pm)
You have to go back 52 years to find West Ham's last win at Liverpool. On the scoresheet that day? Martin Peters and Geoff Hurst.
Fast forward to 2015 and Slaven Bilic's men have failed to follow up their impressive win at Arsenal on the opening day, succumbing to home defeats to Leicester and Bournemouth.
While those defeats may mean they're keen to get back on the road, a trip to Anfield may not be the ideal remedy, especially as Brendan Rodgers' men have yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season.
Is Silva a shoe-in for man of the match? (Man City v Watford – Saturday, 3pm)
We're three games into the season, and David Silva has been by far Manchester City's standout performer.
The Spaniard is at the forefront of everything good for Manuel Pellegrini's men at the moment, and he will be expected to run the show against Watford on Saturday.
City look in imperious form right now, scoring eight and conceding none in their first three fixtures and, with Silva always able to find passes where there shouldn't be one, it could be a long afternoon for Watford.
Which summer signing will earn first win? (Stoke v West Brom – Saturday, 3pm)
Both Stoke and West Brom will be expecting great things from their new faces this summer – Xherdan Shaqiri is a big coup for Mark Hughes' men, while £12m West Brom signing Salomon Rondon is tipped for success.
But both sides have failed to win so far this season and the Baggies will need Rondon to start finding the net as they currently sit at the foot of the Premier League table
Stoke have lost their only game at the Britannia Stadium so far this season, so Mark Hughes will be turning to Shaqiri to inspire his side to what would be a well-needed victory.
