Paul Merson takes on Phil Thompson in this weekend's Sky Sports Fantasy Six-a-Side head-to-head for Manchester City v Arsenal.

The pair are battling it out to face Matt Le Tissier in the final weekend decider, with the winner landing £1,000 for their charity of choice.

Super Sunday's 4pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports 1HD, is a decisive one in the top-four race, with the Gunners looking to sew up their spot while City attempt to stave off Manchester United and West Ham.

Merse's team

Mesut Ozil (Elite Player) - I've done my research and he's got the highest points average of the four. I might have been tempted by Kevin de Bruyne but City will be so disheartened from Wednesday night's performance.

Fernandinho - I was tempted to pick six Arsenal players after the way City played on Wednesday but Fernandinho is always going to get you points, breaking up play with tackles and interceptions.

Danny Welbeck - He's surely got to start after coming on and getting the winner against Norwich and I'd actually like to see him up front alongside Olivier Giroud for once.

Kelechi Iheanacho - It was understandably a tough one for him as a young lad coming on at the Bernabeu but he looks the real deal, so I'm taking a chance on him starting to freshen things up a bit.

Alex Iwobi - I like the lad because he offers something different to the others, making runs that defenders find difficult to pick up. My only concern is that Arsene Wenger tends to drag off the young players when things aren't going to plan, as he did last weekend.

Thommo's team

Sergio Aguero (Elite Player) - I'd always back him to score - as I'm doing in my Sky Bet tip - especially when City are at home.

Yaya Toure - He needs to turn up here and with it looking pretty likely that he'll leave City this summer he'll want to make an impression in what would be his final appearance at the Etihad.

Danny Welbeck - Welbeck should be full of confidence after coming off the bench to score the winner at the weekend and he'll fancy getting at a City defence without Vincent Kompany.

Fernandinho - He ticks all the boxes in terms of doing the defensive work, making passes and even nicking the odd goal.

Mohamed Elneny - He's done well since coming in and like to get on the ball while getting in more advanced areas that Francis Coquelin.
