Manchester United will travel to Norway for a pre-season friendly against five-time national champions Valerenga in Oslo this summer.

Valerenga - managed by former Celtic boss Ronny Deila - will host United at the Ullevaal Stadion on July 30.

Jose Mourinho's side travel to America before that, taking on MLS sides LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake, before International Champions Cup matches against Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Commenting on the club's summer plans, United executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, said: "The team will have access to top class facilities and the number of games this summer ensures that the manager and squad have the best opportunity to prepare for the coming season.
