Man Utd and Forest linked with defender

Manchester United and Nottingham Forest are both showing a big interest in Greek starlet Kyriakos Papadopoulos. The 16-year-old central defender has already made his first-team debut for Olympiakos and is seen as a tremendous prospect for the future. Papadopoulos recently featured in the European Under-19 Championship, and despite Greece going out in the group stages - the youngster impressed hugely. Indeed skysports.com understands that both United and Forest have made enquiries about Papadopoulos. Despite the interest it is believed that Olympiakos are keen to keep hold of Papadopoulos and tie him to a long-term deal. Meanwhile, Olympiakos are also believed to have fielded an enquiry from Blackburn about Vasilis Torosidis. Rovers are just the latest side to ask about the Greek international wing-back who has attracted attention from all over Europe. It is believed Olympiakos want around €8million for the 23-year-old.
