Defender takes confidence from OT record ahead of Blues clash

Manchester United defender John O'Shea is looking for more home comforts against Chelsea on Sunday. The Red Devils head into the crunch clash three points in front of the Blues with three games to play. While they have lost to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the league this term, United have done the double over Carlo Ancelotti's side in the UEFA Champions League. And they are full of confidence at Old Trafford, having taken 49 points out of a possible 51 at home this term. O'Shea, who was the captain for the 4-1 victory over Schalke on Wednesday as United reached the Champions League final, said: "We have shown a lot of experience at Old Trafford in big games.

Play well

"We have already played Chelsea at home in the Champions League, so we know we will have to play well. "Chelsea have hit a bit of form but we know we are a good team at home as well." The defender is focusing on the league campaign instead of the European final with Barcelona, who beat Real Madrid to reach the Wembley showdiwn. After Sunday's clash with Chelsea, the Red Devils take on struggling Blackburn and Blackpool as they go in search of a record 19th title. O'Shea, who was part of the United side which lost to Barcelona in the 2009 European final, added: "We watched the game closely against Madrid. They got through it quite well but we can put it to one side. "We have three huge games in Manchester United's history before another massive match."
