Transfer news: Brighton expect Jesse Lingard to complete loan deal
Brighton are confident that Manchester United will allow Jesse Lingard to complete a loan spell on the south coast.

The England U21 international moved to the Amex Stadium in February on an agreement which is due to run until the end of the season.
A deal struck with United will also allow the promising striker to appear in the Sky Bet Championship play-offs should Brighton end the campaign inside the top six.
The Seagulls believe Lingard will make it through to their final fixture, whenever that may be, and that events at Old Trafford will have no bearing on his immediate future.
It had been suggested that the upheaval at United, in the wake of David Moyes' dismissal, may see loan stars recalled and offered an opportunity to prove their worth.
Lingard is, however, still some way down the pecking order at his parent club and it would appear to be of greater benefit to him to remain in the second tier and look to build on a return of two goals in 13 starts for Brighton.
The Seagulls' assistant head coach Nathan Jones told the Argus on a player who has also spent time with Birmingham City this season: "He's on loan here until the end of the season. I'm sure they will honour that.
"I don't think they are going to drag him back, but he's a fantastic player. I'm sure he has a big future at Man United."
