Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool should have every confidence going into the Marseille game.

Reds should fear no-one - Carragher

Liverpool stalwart Jamie Carragher believes the Reds should have every confidence going into their final UEFA Champions League Group qualifying game against Marseille. The game on Tuesday, 11th December, is a winner takes all affair, with both teams with seven points from their opening five games in Group A. While Marseille's Velodrome stadium is sure to be a cauldron on the night, Carragher believes the Reds - who were Champions League winners in 2005 and runners-up last term - have the necessary experience to secure the victory they need. He said: "It will be very tough in Marseille and a wonderful atmosphere. A few of us played in that stadium a few years ago in the Uefa Cup, so we know how tough it will be. But it will also be a tough game for Marseille.

Fear

"I don't think Liverpool should fear anyone. We have good players and we expect to do well. "We have a lot of confidence in the players we have but I am sure they feel the same way. They have good players, they showed that at Anfield. "But our experience and the way we have played in Europe over the last few years should make us confident. "Qualification is in our own hands, and after the start we had in the group, we are delighted to be going to Marseille with it in our own hands."
Concentrating
But Carragher is presently concentrating on the league, where the unbeaten Reds entertain Bolton at Anfield on Sunday. He said: "We have a few games before we travel to Marseille, starting with Bolton. Hopefully we can keep banging the goals in until then, but for now we have to put it at the back of our minds now and concentrate on the league." The Reds will be without Daniel Agger for the Bolton game, while Rafa Benitez is likely to recall Mohamed Sissoko. He could also give Harry Kewell a start, while Dirk Kuyt, a late substitute against Porto, may also return.
