Theo Walcott has called for Arsenal to improve their second-half performances following back-to-back Premier League defeats.
The Gunners moved top of the table when coming from behind to beat Stoke at the Emirates Stadium earlier this month, but subsequent defeats to Everton and Manchester City now see them nine points behind leaders Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger's side opened the scoring in both of those encounters but a lack of concentration in the two second halves resulted in consecutive defeats.
Walcott, who opened the scoring at the Etihad Stadium on Nissan Super Sunday, says second-half displays will have to be better as they approach the hectic festive period.
"We haven't started the second halves very well," Walcott said.
"In previous games leading up to now, we have actually played better in the second-half and have been on the front foot."
Arsenal enjoyed a successful opening 45 minutes against Pep Guardiola's men, but Walcott notes that a lack of creativity after the break ultimately cost them.
"Yesterday we were on the back foot and obviously Man City dominated the ball," added Walcott.
"We didn't create any chances in the second half to be honest so we are disappointed in that sense but you have got to give credit to City because they played some very good football at times and we found that difficult."
Arsenal return to the Emirates Stadium for their next two Premier League games, taking on West Brom on Boxing Day and Crystal Palace on New Year's Day.
