Midfielder says Gunners will go to Milan looking for goals

Aaron Ramsey feels Arsenal should go to AC Milan on Wednesday looking to put down a UEFA Champions League marker. The Gunners know what it takes to win on an Italian soil and will arrive at Giuseppe Meazza in midweek confident of booking their place in the quarter-finals of this season's competition. Milan will pose a considerable test to their European aspirations, with the reigning Serie A champions back on top of their domestic division. Arsenal, though, are planning to get at the Rossoneri, with manager Arsene Wenger and now midfield playmaker Ramsey vowing to go looking for goals. Ramsey told Arsenal TV Online: "If we can go there and get a few goals and then come back to the Emirates then that's going to be a fantastic result for us. "Hopefully, we can get a couple of goals and keep them out as well." Arsenal have leant heavily on talismanic skipper Robin van Persie when it comes to goals this season, and Ramsey admits it is up to him and his fellow midfielders to help carry the load.

Targets

"I set myself targets at the beginning of the season which I haven't quite achieved yet," he said. "But there are still a few games left and hopefully I can get a few more now." Ramsey was on target on Saturday as Arsenal edged out Sunderland 2-1, with that result having helped to lift the Gunners back into the Premier League's top four. "It's nice to be level on points in fourth place and back in a Champions League place, where we want to be," added the Wales international. "We're going to take each game as it comes. "Now we'll concentrate on the big game on Wednesday."
