NEC Nijmegen defender keen on move to Premier League

NEC Nijmegen defender Jonas Olsson would be interested in making a move to Everton after being linked with the Premier League club. The Swedish stopper has impressed in the Eredivisie this season and has reportedly caught The Toffees' attention. Olsson, who was linked with a transfer to Newcastle and Middlesbrough in March, has one-year remaining on his contract but would be keen to make a switch to England's top flight this summer. "I know that they (Everton) have been to watch me," Olsson told Helsingborgs Dagblad. "The Premier League is something I have dreamt about since I was a child. Everton would be a fantastic club to join. "I feel I have developed everything in Holland. The physical side of my game has improved as well as when I am in possession. "It would be nice for Nijmegen to get a decent fee for me after spending three years here."
