Reading striker to stay at The Valley for rest of season

Reading striker Leroy Lita is to stay on loan at Charlton until the end of the season. The 23-year-old joined The Addicks on an initial month-long deal at the start of March but Alan Pardew has now struck an agreement with Steve Coppell to keep him at The Valley. Lita had found his path to the Reading side blocked by the likes of Dave Kitson, Kevin Doyle and Shane Long. He has had more opportunities at Charlton and has already started four games in the Championship. Lita has yet to score but Pardew has been encouraged by his performances and will be hoping he can have a big impact in the last two months of the season. Charlton, currently tenth in the division, take on Wolves on Saturday and Lita is expected to keep his place.
