Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli will undergo tests aimed to find out why he suffered a dizzy spell in the midweek win at Norwich.

But head coach Mauricio Pochettino insists he is not concerned by it, despite Alli having to be withdrawn at half-time during the 3-0 win at Carrow Road, and the youngster could play against Watford on Saturday.

Pochettino has confirmed that Alli has been training and feels fine, but he will be assessed after the final session on Friday to determine his potential availability, along with Ryan Mason.

"I do not know why he was dizzy because I am not a doctor. We need to do some tests next week but we have very good medical staff and we are not worried," Pochettino said.

"Today Dele was good in the training session but we need to assess tomorrow, after the last training session, and know why, but I do not think it is a big problem.

"I still think he is available [for Saturday] but we need to have some control. He feels good now but after tomorrow [Friday] we need to assess him and if he's all normal he will be available.

"We have one more training session tomorrow and we will decide after whether or not Ryan Mason will be back. Jan [Vertonghen] and Clinton [Njie] are still out with injury."

Spurs' win at Norwich was their third successive Premier League victory and moved them up to third, above Arsenal.

Pochettino insists finishing above the club's "sworn enemy" is not his principle motivation and the team must stay grounded all the way until the end of the season.

He said: "We talk about different things but the most important thing is to be focused on our job and try to improve every day. This is key to keep our position and fight for the big things at the end of the season.

"I can feel it's very important for our fans and all people who love football to be above [Arsenal]. It's the reality that they are our sworn enemy, but we need to keep our goals and objectives.

"We are in a good position in the league and in the FA Cup and Europa League. The players agree with me that we can improve and have the potential to do that.

Speaking on the Sunday Supplement last month, Martin Samuel argued that there is not a better English attacking midfielder than Dele Alli

"In my experience, it is better to show than speak. When you speak too much in football, you can make it worse.

"We are where we are because we worked hard since the beginning. We need to keep the same way, not do anything different."
