Goals from Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne gave City the lead at the Etihad Stadium, but Spurs showed their mettle by coming back to secure a 2-2 draw, courtesy of goals from Dele Alli and half-time substitute Son.

Mauricio Pochettino's side were not at their fluent best but South Korea international, Son, felt the battling result showed the extent of their collective spirit.
