Mauricio Pochettino is confident Toby Alderweireld will remain at the club

Mauricio Pochettino has shrugged off reports suggesting that Toby Alderweireld has rejected a new contract offer at Tottenham.

Reports on Wednesday suggested the defender is keen to join Inter Milan this summer and has a £25m release clause that would allow him to move to Serie A.

But Pochettino is in "no doubt" that the Belgian will remain in north London.

The Argentinian said: "I never speak about rumours. Go speak to Daniel [Levy].

"All the players have contracts for the next two, three years. We are not worried. I invite all the clubs that want a player from Tottenham to come to the training ground and speak to Daniel Levy.

"A player that will leave the club is always our decision, a club decision.
