Sevilla striker considers possible summer transfer

Fredi Kanoute has admitted that he has been contacted by English and Spanish clubs over a possible summer transfer. The Sevilla striker is under contract until 2010, but he has hinted that he could be interested in a move elsewhere at the end of the season. Kanoute has proved a success in Sevilla after moving to the Sanchez Pizjuan from Tottenham in 2005 and he has scored 37 goals in 83 games in his three years in Spain. That form is also understood to have attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce and Kanoute confesses he could be tempted to pastures new, if Sevilla decide to sell.

Happy

"My contract runs until 2010," Kanoute told skysports.com. "Let's see what the club think about it. "I am happy with my situation at the club, but in football you can never say never. If the club wants to sell, you have to look elsewhere. "I have had contact from some teams in England, Spain and two other giants of European football, so let's wait and see for my next destination." However, Kanoute has laughed off suggestions he could return to Tottenham and reunite with former Sevilla boss and current Spurs boss Juande Ramos. When asked about the possibility of going back to Spurs, Kanoute joked: "I don't know about that."
