Powell keen to land Spurs youngster on loan

Skysports.com understands Charlton are lining up a loan swoop for Tottenham midfielder John Bostock. The 19-year-old remains some way down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and has already taken in a spell at Hull City this season. He joined the Tigers on a season-long loan back in August, but recently saw that agreement terminated after struggling to make an impact at the KC Stadium. Bostock did score two goals in 11 appearances for Hull, but was unable to produce his best on a regular basis or hold down a first-team role. Having returned to Spurs, it is expected that he will be loaned out once more over the coming weeks. Charlton are keen to take the youngster to The Valley, with new Addicks boss Chris Powell looking to piece together a side capable of securing promotion out of League One. It is understood that an approach has already been made to Tottenham, with Powell now waiting on a decision from Harry Redknapp's side.
