France wait on Kaboul & Remy

Blanc sweating over key duo

France are sweating over the fitness of Younes Kaboul and Loic Remy ahead of Euro 2012. Tottenham defender Kaboul aggravated an old knee injury in their final game of the season against Fulham and he is set for scans on the problem this week. Marseille striker Remy picked up a thigh injury in Marseille's win over Auxerre on Sunday and he faces up to four weeks on the sidelines. France coach Laurent Blanc is waiting to find out the full extent of the injuries to the pair, but he concedes he is more worried about Kaboul's problem. "We'll see with the doctors but we need to know if we can have him on time for the start of the competition," said Blanc. "His [Kaboul's] case is the most worrying. It's an old injury he's had for two or three years. He will undergo checks today or tomorrow."
