Jordan Rhodes takes on the FL72 Podcast 10 to Tackle, revealing who his cleverest team-mate is, and why Nuno Gomes is the best player he has played with.

What do your team-mates call you?

Jordan or Rhodesy, something like that, the strangest nickname in the team at the moment is Craig Conway, who we call Bull.

Best thing about playing for Blackburn?

The history, everything that comes with Blackburn, they won the Premier League. Good fans, great facilities. It makes it a joy to come in.

Cleverest team-mate?

Craig Conway. He seems a clever guy, he comes up with some interest facts and is always first to put the quiz up in the physio room.

And who is not the brightest?

Without a doubt Shane Duffy. I've never met anything like him in football. He comes out with some belters.

Any superstitions?

I've got quite a few. I like to come out last for everything, it's something my Dad did when he played, and I kind of carried on.

Best player you've played with?

I would probably go with Nuno Gomes, because he's played 80 odd times for Portugal when they were in their pomp. He played for so many top clubs around Europe, and even though he was coming to the end of his career he was such an intelligent player.

Best moment in football so far?

Probably getting promoted with Huddersfield. I managed to get promoted with Brentford, but with Huddersfield it was something special.

Worst moment in football?

The injuries. There's no better feeling than playing football, being out there, healthy. But these things happen.

Strangest rumour you've heard about yourself?

I've not heard too many, but the odd transfer rumours where they "see you" at certain clubs. It's almost flattering in a way to be linked and talked about with other clubs.

Where will Blackburn finish in the league this season?

It's a tough one, we're taking one game at a time. Ideally in the play-offs, but we've got plenty of hard word to do between now and then. We'll see how it goes.
