Rams on repeat

Derby have not won any of their last seven games and have now slipped from second to fifth in the Championship table. This current slip in form mirrors similar blips over the past five seasons when they have struggled for points after the turn of the year.

The Rams have occupied a place in the top six of the table for over half of four of their past five seasons without winning promotion. In that time, January, February and March has seen their form drastically decline from previous months.

Millwall on the march

Millwall's 1-0 Championship win against Brentford on Saturday means that the Lions are now unbeaten in their past 11 Championship games, only Fulham and Tottenham are currently on longer unbeaten runs in all four English Divisions.

As recently as New Year's Day Neil Harris' were six points above the relegation places but their current run has put them 10th only six points off the play-offs.

Patrick's purple patch

Middlesbrough's Patrick Bamford has now scored eight goals in his past five games including a first career hat-trick in Boro's 3-0 win against Leeds at The Riverside at the start of March. The 24-year-old is also the first Middlesbrough player to score in five successive games since Bernie Slaven (six games) in 1991.

League One

Blackburn Rovers beat Blackpool 3-0 on Saturday and are now unbeaten in their past 16 League One games at Ewood Park. This is their best unbeaten run at home in the league since 22 games without defeat between September 1993 and October 1994 in the Premier League.

League Two

Accrington leapfrogged Luton at the top of League Two this weekend thanks to Billy Kee's injury-time winner at Kenilworth Road. The Accies have won seven of their last eight games and only Fulham have won more points in English League football since the start of 2018.
