Tim Sherwood admitted that he is worried by his team's recent form in the wake of Aston Villa's 1-0 defeat at home to Stoke.
Marko Arnautovic's second half goal condemned the Midlands club to a sixth defeat in eight games and leaves them third from bottom of the Premier League table.
Asked about the concerns the fans may have, Sherwood admitted they were right to be anxious and that he shared that feeling.
"Certainly they'll be getting worried but I'm getting worried also so we're in it together," said the Villa boss.
"But I understand that I'm the man stood in that technical area and I take the brunt of it. I haven't got a problem with their frustration and I understand it."
As for Villa's performance on the day, the former Tottenham manager felt his side needed to create more chances at the end of some promising play in the build-up.
"Some of it was okay, we had a few chances - Micah's one just after they scored - we've had chances to score today but not enough and it's disappointing," added Sherwood.
"It's disappointing, obviously, to get nothing out of the game. We didn't play well enough, I thought it was a draw but we went into it expecting to win and unfortunately we haven't picked up any points again.
"We carry on working hard. We work as hard as we have done every day since I've been at the club.
"Ultimately I'm the manager and I've got to take responsibility for the results and the performances and that's part and parcel of the job."
