Twente midfielder agrees five-year contract at De Kuip

Feyenoord have agreed a deal to sign Karim El Ahmadi from Eredivisie rivals Twente Enschede. El Ahmadi has accepted a five-year contract at De Kuip and will officially complete his move to Feyenoord in the summer. Reports put the fee in the region of 5million euros (£4million) and Feyenoord are happy to have snapped up the 23-year-old midfielder. "We are pleased that Karim has chosen us," technical director Peter Bosz told the club's official website.

Big talent

"He is one of the biggest talents in the Netherlands." Despite his delight at agreeing a move to Feyenoord, El Ahmadi wants to focus on the closing games of the season with Twente. El Ahmadi said: "I have taken this decision for next season. "For me, the most important thing now is that I will finish together with FC Twente and the fans on good terms in the coming weeks."
